"The stillness of a room and what is taking place in secret”

My first contact with designing spaces took place when I studied architecture and graphic design.
I continued developing myself in that field during my studies of scenography at the Amsterdam School of the Arts (AHK), where I graduated in 2013.
I like to explore, to play, look critical at what I make, and then respond to it: if it were, to go in dialogue with my own creation. I proceed from intuition and association.
I identify myself with the following quote from the Belgian surrealist Rene Magritte:“I never had an idea, I only thought about the image.” I create based on drawings, that’s my working method. I am a lover of experimenting, always looking for a combination within the genres of the performing arts.The aim is to change the way of looking of the viewer to guide and direct him to another reality. As a set designer is my preference when working with dance, music and autonomous projects.
